Stephanie R. Holan
I’m Stephanie, and I’m an accomplished Texas family law attorney admitted to the State Bar of Texas since 2014. My practice focuses on family law, criminal defense, and education law, with a particular emphasis on complex custody matters, divorce, and advocacy for women and families navigating difficult transitions.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin, my Master of Education from Lamar University, and my Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. Before entering the law, I served as a Texas State Board of Education certified teacher in Highland Park ISD, Lovejoy ISD, and Richardson ISD, and contributed to statewide curriculum development and standardized testing review panels — experience that gives me a distinctive edge.
I’m proud to be a recognized voice in the legal community, having served on the State Bar of Texas Women in the Law Committee and as a speaker on empowering women in law and the workplace. I’ve been named a Top-Rated Attorney by Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024; a Rising Star in 2023 and 2024; and one of the Top Women Attorneys in Texas by Texas Monthly (2024). I am a member of The Texas Bar College, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Junior League of Dallas.
