Legal Career Beginnings

Shelly began her legal career working for the very prestigious criminal defense firm Goldstein, Goldstein, Hilley & Orr handling mostly white-collar criminal defense and appellate cases. Her experience as a former prosecutor, with extensive time spent in the courtroom, has been invaluable as a defense attorney and civil litigator. After leaving the Prosecutor’s office, Shelly returned to private practice where she could resume her passion for dealing directly with clients and help them resolve their unique and complex legal issues. In 2012, she joined forces with her longtime friend and colleague Blair Carroll and together they started the Carroll Troberman, PLLC as it exists today.
